Hreflang

Hreflang tags tell search engines which language and region a page targets, so the right version shows to the right users.

Hreflang is an attribute that maps each page to a language and optional region. It helps search engines serve the correct localised version and avoids duplicate-content issues across markets.

Example

A brand serving the US, UK and UAE uses hreflang so a UK searcher gets the en-gb page, not the en-us one.
